Sauska Cuvée 7 Siklós 2020 shows a more refined, aromatic side of southern Hungarian red wine. While sharing the same Bordeaux-inspired philosophy as its Villány counterpart, it reflects the Siklós microclimate, where cooler nights and limestone soils bring freshness and finesse. This premium Hungarian red reveals aromas of ripe red plum, violet, sweet spice, and minerality. On the palate, it’s supple and silky, with elegant tannins and a long, harmonious finish — an outstanding example of a balanced Hungarian red wine crafted with precision and care.

How It Differs from Sauska – Cuvée 7 Villány

While Villány offers strength and structure, Sauska Siklós Cuvée 7 expresses grace, freshness, and aromatic lift. The cooler terroir yields fresher acidity, softer tannins, and floral fruit, resulting in a more elegant, food-friendly Hungarian red blend.

Composed of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, hand-harvested from organically farmed Siklós vineyards. Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel, then aged 14 months in a mix of new and second-use oak barrels.

The focus is on precision and freshness, allowing the terroir’s natural balance to shine.
