The Tánczos Pince Olaszrizling (Welschriesling) Hegybor is an exceptional wine that authentically reflects the unique terroir of the Nivegy Valley and the passionate craftsmanship of the Tánczos family.

Nestled between Zánka and Nagyvázsony in the Balatonfüred-Csopak wine region, the picturesque Nivegy Valleyprovides ideal conditions for growing Olaszrizling. The 4.4-hectare estate of Tánczos Pince enjoys a southern exposure, allowing the vines to receive additional sunlight, thanks to the reflection from Lake Balaton.

The soil is a mix of marl and sedimentary rock, with medium stoniness and high limestone content, which gives the wine its characteristic minerality. The valley's microclimate—influenced by the lake and surrounding hills—creates a balanced growing environment, resulting in wines that are both elegant and structured.

Made from hand-selected Olaszrizling grapes grown in the Tagyon Hill vineyards, this wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation and is aged on fine lees for an extended period.

On the nose, it reveals floral and almond aromas, typical of the varietal. The palate offers a rich texture, balanced acidity, and a slight almond finish, a signature characteristic of well-crafted Olaszrizling. It has a medium intensity golden-yellow color, with mineral notes and hints of dried fruit. The taste is dry, crisp, and creamy, with a long, refined aftertaste.

Now you have the opportunity to virtually adopt a piece of this beautiful Tánczos vineyard, experiencing the harmony of nature, tradition, and the unique character of the Balaton Uplands.

Nestled in the picturesque Nivegy Valley, between Zánka and Nagyvázsony, Tánczos Pince is a passionate family winery dedicated to natural winemaking and exceptional quality. They cultivate 4.4 hectares in the Balatonfüred-Csopak wine region, where they farm their vineyards without chemicals and rely on the grapes' own natural yeasts during fermentation.

Their philosophy is simple: nothing is better than what is real, and nothing is more beautiful than what is natural. Their goal is to build a sustainable winery that respects both the environment and wine lovers while crafting increasingly refined wines year after year.

Tánczos Pince produces a variety of wines, including whites such as Olaszrizling, Furmint, and Zengő, as well as reds like Kékfrankos and Cabernet Franc. They also make rosé wines, including the special Szürkebarát "Rosé" and Kékfrankos Rosé. Every bottle reflects the unique terroir of the Balaton Uplands, the care of artisanal winemaking, and a deep respect for nature.

At the winery, they believe that great wine is more than just a drink—it’s a story that connects people to the land, the vintages, and the passion of the winemakers. Opening a bottle of Tánczos wine is not just about tasting pure and honest flavors but experiencing a piece of the Balaton Uplands' soul.
