Bodegas Barón de Ley - Reserva 2019 is a stunning red wine from the renowned Rioja region, crafted with a blend of Tempranillo, Graciano, and Mazuelo grapes. The wine displays a deep ruby red color and offers a complex aroma profile, featuring ripe dark fruits like blackberries and cherries, as well as subtle notes of vanilla, toast, and spice from its oak aging. On the palate, it reveals a full-bodied structure with smooth, well-integrated tannins and a perfect harmony of fruit, oak, and acidity. The finish is long and velvety, leaving behind a lingering, sophisticated taste. This Reserva showcases the best of Rioja winemaking, offering elegance, depth, and balance.

The Tempranillo, Graciano, and Mazuelograpes for this wine are hand-harvested from Barón de Ley's estate vineyards, which are located in the Rioja Baja area. The warm Mediterranean climate ensures that the grapes achieve optimal ripeness. After harvesting, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures to preserve the fresh fruit character. The wine is then aged for 18 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels, which impart complex flavors of vanilla, spice, and subtle oak. After aging in the barrels, it undergoes further maturation in the bottle before being released, resulting in a wine that is well-rounded, balanced, and ready for enjoyment.
