Crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Kékfrankos, this blend offers a vibrant and expressive profile, bringing together international depth and local charm. Its deep ruby hue is followed by aromas of juicy red fruits like cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry, backed by gentle spice and a whisper of cedar from oak aging. Rouge 52 (2022) is a blend of several red grape varieties, with a dominant role played by Merlot, supported by Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc together with the regional variety of Kékfrankos. The grapes are sourced from multiple plots in the Villány region, harvested at optimal ripeness to emphasize fruitiness and aromatic lift.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with gentle extraction to retain the fresh, primary fruit character. A portion of the wine is aged in used Hungarian oak barrels for several months, adding subtle structure and spice without overshadowing the fruit. The final blend is carefully assembled to balance smoothness, drinkability, and just enough complexity to make each sip interesting.
