The Code (2022) is made exclusively from Cabernet Franc grapes, carefully harvested from select vineyards in the Villány wine region, known for its warm climate and well-drained soils. These conditions help produce grapes with concentrated flavors and balanced acidity, key to crafting a refined yet powerful wine.

After hand-picking, the grapes are gently destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature to preserve the grape’s vibrant fruit and aromatic profile. Extended maceration ensures the extraction of color, tannins, and complex flavor compounds. The wine is then matured for 10 to 12 months in Hungarian oak barrels, allowing subtle integration of vanilla, spice, and smoky nuances while softening the tannins to create a smooth, elegant texture.

The result is a Cabernet Franc that expresses both the terroir’s warmth and Kiss Gábor’s signature style—structured, aromatic, and perfectly balanced.
