Penfolds Max’s Shiraz 2021 is a bold and polished example of classic South Australian Shiraz. Rich, expressive, and unmistakably regional. It opens with a vibrant medley of ripe blackberries, dark plums, and red currants, unfolding into layers of savoury spice, black pepper, and a subtle thread of mocha oak. There’s a refreshing lift of eucalyptus and violet, adding aromatic brightness and depth.
On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied with fine, supple tannins and a seamless, silky texture. The wine shows beautiful balance, its fruit power matched by elegance and drive.
