This sweet Tokaji Aszú is a true treasure. This 5 Puttonyos Aszú presents a bright golden color. On the nose, it offers aromas of apricot, ripe apple, citrus oils, orange rind, almond, and acacia honey. The palate is seamless and rich, with notes of saffron, orange marmalade, cinnamon, and ripe mango, framed by a gorgeous minerality. The wine exhibits a rare harmony and extraordinary tactile persistence, already refined and capable of aging gracefully for three decades.

This wine is crafted from a blend of Furmint, Hárslevelű, and Sárgamuskotály grapes. The grapes are sourced from the Sauska family's vineyards, which are situated on volcanic soils rich in zeolite, riolite, and tuff, contributing to the wine's unique minerality. The vineyards are located at elevations of 180-200 meters, with exposures ranging from southeast to southwest, providing optimal conditions for grape ripening. 

The 2019 vintage began with hand-harvesting of perfectly botrytized grapes, ensuring only the highest quality fruit was selected. The grapes were soaked in must for 24 hours to extract maximum flavor and sugar concentration. Fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks using indigenous yeasts, preserving the grapes' natural characteristics. The wine was aged for 24 months, with 10% in new French oak barrels and 90% in used French oak barrels, imparting subtle oak nuances while maintaining the wine's fresh profile.
