This wine is predominantly crafted from Carmenère grapes, complemented by a small addition of Cabernet Sauvignon. The Carmenère grapes are sourced from Montes' Finca Apalta Estate and Marchigüe Estate vineyards. These vineyards are characterized by granite-rich soils, which impart depth and complexity to the wine. 

Upon harvest, the grapes undergo fermentation in small wooden vats at controlled temperatures to preserve their aromatic profiles. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, with 50% of the barrels being new. This aging process enhances the wine's complexity, contributing subtle notes of vanilla and dark chocolate.
