Torelló Corpinnat Brut Reserva Special Edition 2023 is a premium Spanish sparkling wine that reflects the highest standards of quality and origin from the Penedès region. Crafted entirely from estate-grown, organic grapes, this elegant Corpinnat offers fine, persistent bubbles and a beautifully balanced profile. Fresh aromas of green apple, citrus, and white flowers are complemented by subtle notes of brioche and toasted almonds, leading to a crisp, refined palate with a creamy texture and long, refreshing finish.

As a Corpinnat, this wine guarantees strict production rules, including hand harvesting, organic viticulture, and extended aging, resulting in greater depth and authenticity than typical sparkling wines. Torelló Brut Reserva Special Edition 2023 is an excellent choice for those seeking a sophisticated, terroir-driven alternative to traditional Cava.

Torelló Corpinnat Brut Reserva Special Edition 2023 is crafted using the traditional method (méthode traditionnelle), where the second fermentation takes place in the bottle to create its fine, persistent bubbles. What truly sets this wine apart is its strict adherence to Corpinnat standards.

Only hand-harvested, organically farmed, estate-grown grapes are used, and importantly, these come exclusively from local Penedès varieties such as Xarel·lo, Macabeo, and Parellada. This ensures the wine reflects its origin with authenticity and a strong sense of place.

After a gentle pressing, the base wine ferments in stainless steel to պահպան freshness and purity. The second fermentation occurs in bottle, followed by extended aging on the lees (minimum 18 months, often longer), which develops its creamy texture, fine mousse, and elegant notes of brioche and toasted nuts. The wine is then riddled and disgorged, with a low dosage to maintain its crisp Brut style.

Corpinnat vs Cava – key difference:

While both use the traditional method, Corpinnat is far more restrictive. It requires 100% organic viticulture, manual harvesting, estate vinification, longer aging, and exclusive use of indigenous grape varieties. In contrast, Cava regulations are broader, allowing non-local grapes and more flexible sourcing, resulting in a wider variation in style and quality.

Fresh oysters or seafood platters – The wine’s crisp acidity and minerality enhance the natural salinity.

Grilled prawns with garlic and parsley – Its freshness cuts through richness while complementing delicate flavors.

Jamón ibérico or aged Manchego – The bubbles cleanse the palate and balance savory, umami notes.

Sushi and sashimi – The clean profile and citrus tones pair beautifully with raw fish.

Lemon herb roasted chicken – The acidity lifts the dish while matching its aromatic freshness.
