The 2024 Kékfrankos Rosé from Dubicz Winery captures the breezy, sunlit essence of the Mátra wine region in a single, refreshing bottle. Made exclusively from 100% Kékfrankos (Blaufränkisch) grapes, this rosé is a beautifully expressive wine that showcases the variety’s natural freshness, delicate fruit character, and vibrant acidity.

In the glass, it displays a soft, pale pink hue — delicate and inviting. The nose opens with aromas of fresh strawberries, red currants, and wild raspberries, gently lifted by floral notes reminiscent of rose petals and peony. It’s clean, youthful, and aromatic, with just the right amount of complexity to keep you coming back for more.

On the palate, the wine is dry, crisp, and zesty, with a bright acidity that balances its juicy red fruit flavors. Hints of watermelon, sour cherry, and subtle herbal notes lend extra layers of refreshment. The texture is silky, the body light to medium, and the finish is clean, cooling, and elegant — ideal for warm days or light dishes.

The Dubicz Kékfrankos Rosé 2024 is crafted from carefully selected 100% Kékfrankos grapes, harvested from cooler, higher-altitude vineyard sites in the Mátra wine region — one of Hungary’s most dynamic and increasingly recognized terroirs for fresh, elegant styles.

To preserve the grape’s natural acidity and aromatics, the fruit was harvested in the early morning hours, gently destemmed, and pressed with minimal skin contact. This method results in the wine’s delicate pale pink color and pure fruit expression.

Fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at low temperatures (12–14°C), using selected yeast strains to emphasize vibrant aromatics and crisp structure. No oak was used in the process to ensure a clean, fruit-forward style.

It was bottled early to capture its youthful freshness and bright character.
