Raise your glass to this vibrant kékfrankos rosé, a crisp and charming rosé born in the volcanic hills of Badacsony, one of Hungary’s most distinctive wine regions. Crafted from hand-picked Kékfrankos grapes, this new vintage captures the unique minerality and elegance that the region is renowned for.

With its delicate pale pink color and inviting aromas of wild strawberries, red currants, and a touch of citrus, this rosé is both refreshing and refined. The palate offers juicy red fruit, bright acidity, and a clean, dry finish, underscored by the subtle volcanic character of Badacsony’s basalt-rich soil.

The Altinger Kékfrankos Rozé 2024 is made exclusively from hand-harvested Kékfrankos grapes grown on the volcanic slopes of Badacsony. After harvest, the grapes were gently pressed with minimal skin contact to achieve a delicate pale pink color. The juice was cold-settled before undergoing slow, temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks at around 14–16°C, preserving the fresh fruit aromas and natural acidity

No oak aging was used, ensuring a clean, crisp profile that highlights the purity of the variety and the minerality of the basalt-rich terroir. After fermentation, the wine was kept on fine lees for a short period to enhance mouthfeel and texture, then carefully filtered and bottled early to retain its freshness and vibrancy.
