Sauska - Sauvignon Blanc (2024)

Sauska - Sauvignon Blanc (2024)
The Sauska Sauvignon Blanc 2024 offers a crisp yet refined expression of this vibrant grape variety. It reflects Sauska Winery’s commitment to quality and innovation, while showcasing the unique terroir of the Tokaj wine region. Though the grapes are grown near Mád, in the heart of the Tokaj region, this wine is officially classified as Zempléni, as Sauvignon Blanc is not among the permitted varieties under in Tokaj.
The 2024 vintage brought warm and favorable weather conditions, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly, resulting in an aromatic, fresh, and precisely structured wine.
On the nose, you’ll find vibrant citrus notes like lime and grapefruit, complemented by fresh green apple, pear, mint, and subtle herbal tones. The palate is lively and crisp, with bright acidity, a well-balanced structure, and a clean, refreshing finish. Its focused yet layered aroma profile makes it both a perfect pairing for light dishes and a delight to enjoy on its own.
