The Istvándy Jenő Winery Farkastető Chardonnay 2022 is a single-vineyard dry white wine originating from the Farkastető vineyard in Szentbékkálla, located in the Balaton Uplands wine region. The grapes, harvested by hand from 35-year-old Chardonnay vines, underwent gentle processing before being fermented in tanks under controlled cooling, followed by spontaneous malolactic fermentation. The wine was then aged on fine lees for one year and matured in used oak barrels for six months.
