The 2021 vintage in Villány offered balanced growing conditions. A moderate climate with well-timed rainfall, which allowed the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes to ripen slowly and evenly. Grapes were harvested by hand from 23–38-year-old vines in the Csillagvölgy vineyard.

After careful sorting and stainless steel fermentation, the wine was matured for 16 months in second- and third-fill barrique barrels. This aging process lent the wine its refined structure and complex, spicy layers without overpowering the varietal fruit.
