The Heimann Barbarossa 2022 is a notable addition to the Heimann family's portfolio, serving as a youthful counterpart to their esteemed Barbár wine. This blend comprises Cabernet Franc, Kékfrankos, Merlot, Tannat, and Syrah, sourced predominantly from the Bati Kereszt vineyard. This particular vineyard, characterized by its sheltered location and later ripening period, imparts a fresher fruit profile and a slightly lighter structure to the wine. In contrast, the Barbár is primarily derived from the more exposed and wind-swept Porkoláb Valley, known for producing intensely flavorful and concentrated wines. 

The Barbarossa 2022 exhibits a vibrant hue, combining shades of crimson and ruby with a deep core. On the nose, it offers an array of dark spices, pepper, cassis, blackberry, and plum, complemented by jammy notes, highlighting its primary fruit character. The palate reveals well-integrated oak influences, featuring nuances of dark chocolate, refined tannins, and a balanced body.

The grapes are hand-harvested to ensure optimal ripeness and quality. Fermentation occurs in controlled environments, utilizing spontaneous fermentation techniques to preserve the natural expression of the fruit. The wine is then aged in carefully selected barrels, which impart subtle nuances of dark chocolate and contribute to the wine's refined tannin structure.
