The grapes for El Camino 2020 are harvested from select vineyards in theRioja Alta region, known for its ideal conditions for growing Tempranillo. After the grapes are hand-harvested, they undergo fermentation at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks to preserve their fresh fruit aromas. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for a period in French and American oak barrels, which imparts subtle notes of vanilla, spice, and toast, while allowing the wine to develop depth and complexity. After barrel aging, the wine undergoes bottle maturation to achieve balance before release.
