Martín Códax - Marieta 2023 is a semi-dry Albariño, known for its lively, fruit-forward character and refreshing acidity. Sourced from the Rías Baixas region of Spain, this wine offers a bright golden hue and enticing aromas of ripe peach, green apple, and citrus zest. On the palate, it delivers a smooth, slightly off-dry texture with flavors of tropical fruits, melon, and a hint of honey, balanced by a crisp, zesty finish. This approachable and aromatic Albariño is perfect for those who enjoy a fresh yet subtly sweet white wine with a vibrant personality.

Marieta 2023 is crafted from 100% Albariño grapes grown in the Rías Baixas region of Spain, where the cool, Atlantic-influenced climate helps preserve the grape’s natural acidity and aromatic intensity. The grapes are carefully hand-harvested at optimal ripeness to ensure vibrant fruit flavors. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing the wine to retain its crisp and fresh character. Unlike traditional Albariños, fermentation is intentionally halted before all sugars are converted into alcohol, resulting in a slightly off-dry style that enhances its fruit-forward profile and smooth texture. To add complexity and depth, the wine undergoes a short period of aging on lees before bottling, contributing to a rounder mouthfeel while maintaining its signature freshness. Once bottled, it is released early to capture its bright acidity, lively aromatics, and subtly sweet finish.

Grilled Garlic Shrimp – Light and citrusy, enhancing the Albariño’s freshness.

Seared Tuna Tataki – Pairs well with the wine’s crisp acidity and fruit notes.

Lemon Herb Roast Chicken – A balanced dish that complements the wine’s smooth texture.

Galician-Style Octopus (Pulpo a la Gallega) – A classic Spanish pairing with paprika and olive oil.

Goat Cheese & Arugula Salad – The wine’s bright acidity cuts through the richness of the cheese.
