A refined dry Furmint from the renowned Tokaj region, showcasing bright citrus, pear, and floral aromas with a distinct minerality. It presents a bright, pale yellow color. On the nose, it offers a bouquet of floral and citrus aromas, with notes of acacia, lemon zest, and a hint of tropical fruit. The palate is dry and crisp, characterized by vibrant acidity and a dense, complex, well-structured mouthfeel. Flavors of green apple, white peach, and a touch of minerality are evident, leading to a long, refreshing finish.

The grapes for the Mandolás Furmint are sourced from the Mandolás vineyard, one of Oremus's prime sites. This vineyard is exclusively planted with Furmint, the region's most renowned grape variety. The vines benefit from the unique terroir of Tokaj-Hegyalja, characterized by volcanic soils and a favorable microclimate, which contribute to the wine's distinctive minerality and aromatic complexity. 

In the 2022 vintage, the winemaking process began with meticulous hand harvesting of the Furmint grapes, ensuring only the healthiest and ripest bunches were selected. The grapes underwent gentle pressing to extract a high-density must. Fermentation took place in a combination of new Hungarian oak barrels (20%) and stainless steel tanks (80%), allowing for a harmonious integration of oak nuances and the preservation of the grape's fresh character. The wine was aged for six months, with 70% resting in Hungarian oak barrels and 30% in stainless steel. During the first three months, the wine in oak barrels underwent weekly lees stirring (batonnage) to enhance texture and complexity, followed by three months of rest. This aging regimen imparts subtle oak flavors and contributes to the wine's full-bodied profile.
