The 2023 vintage of Villebois Sauvignon Blanc Prestige was shaped by a relatively cool growing season in the Loire Valley, with optimal ripening conditions that preserved both acidity and aromatic complexity. Grapes were sourced from select hillside vineyards with calcareous soils, known for imparting finesse and minerality.

Harvested at night to retain freshness, the grapes underwent gentle pressing followed by cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks. No oak was used—this is a wine that values purity and detail. A short period of aging on fine lees enhanced the texture and mouthfeel, lending subtle weight without masking the varietal character.

This approach reflects Villebois’s philosophy: precision over opulence, origin over intervention. The result is a Sauvignon Blanc of tension and elegance, with remarkable length and poise.
